Denia is a city located north of the province of Alicante, in the Valencian Community. It is the capital and the heart of La Marina Alta region and has about 45,000 inhabitants, although in summer its population can reach five times, reaching around 200,000. It has direct and fast communications with Ibiza and Balearic Island by everyday ferry services.
This beautiful town and region are an attraction for its turquoise tones of the waters of the Mediterranean Sea and the golden color of its sand. Denia alone has more than 15 kilometres of continuous beach. This magnificient spot in Mediterranean Coast is also dominated by Montgó mount which provides the town with a particularly benevolent and warm weather to enjoy a sunshine even during Winter, apart from allowing countryside activities and amazing spots for stunning villas and cottages. Given the privileged location and weather, Denia and its surrounding typical Mediterranean-style towns (Ondara, El Vergel, Pedreguer, Els Poblets, La Xara...) have become a prefered spot for both foreigners and nationals to buy a property by the beach in Spain.
